Emily Ratajkowski is an incredibly sexy model, and Instagram social media star. She is deserving of a profile page that shows her beauty and her personality.

Emily was born in Westminster, London in 1991. Her amazing looks come from her mixed German, Jewish, Irish, and Polish background. Even though she was born in the UK, she has an American nationality. Her mother is Kathleen Balgley who is a writer and professor of English. Her father is JD Ratajkowski who is a painter and an art teacher.

Her parents led a sort of bohemian lifestyle. They did not own a television, and her father would cut the labels off of his clothes, as he did not like brands. Her parents allowed her to be very independent, and did not set a curfew for her, even on school nights. When she was 15, she actually dated one of her father’s former students.

Both of her parents taught at the San Dieguito Academy which is near San Diego. This is where Emily spent most of her childhood, but often travelled to Europe with her parents.

Emily attended San Dieguito Academy, and was signed to the Ford Models agency at the age of 14. She was also active in soccer, ballet, and acting during this stage of her life.

Her first acting stint was as Elsa in a production of The Little March Girl at the school of the North Coast Repertory Theatre.

Emily Ratajkowski began her modelling career in Los Angeles which led her to get the role of Tashsa in Nickelodeon’s iCarly. Emily then attended UCLA for a year in 2009, before fully committing to modelling full time. While in school, she studied art, and still paints and draws today.

When she posed for the cover of Treats! Magazine, she got the attention of Robin Thicke who convinced his music director to cast her in his Blurred Lines music video. The song became the number one song of 2013, which gave Emily a lot of exposure due to fans watching the music video. Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams are fully clothed, and singing to Emily and two other naked women raised some eyebrows. She did get some negative media feedback due to the videos apparent sexist content.

Due to Emily’s earlier work posing nude for artistic photography allowed her to feel comfortable posing nude further in her career. She appeared on the covers of FHM, Cosmopolitan, and GQ.

Emily is currently not married, and does not have any children. She did date Andrew Dryden, a menswear buyer and creative director. Following their breakup, she started dating Jeff Magid who owns RBI Media, a music and entertainment based company.
